Here one of always favorites machines: Leica IIIc, from 1946, here some facts:
- Leica thread-mount rangefinder
- $448 with f2 lens in 1948 ($4053 in 2010 dollars)
Leica’s were widely copied. I will have some side-by-side photos on the Canon III delivery
