East Bay MX… the Newest MX Track in the Tampa Bay Area

Hello!

Is Sunday today, and I finally get done all the editing and selection from the shoot out over East Bay MX, love the place, love the track, really cool light and of course, super cool photos. Last Friday, the Round 1 of the Monster Energy Series, friend Brian was telling me about the place, not even notice the existence of that MX Track, so close and sooo there… 15 min from home, I didn’t hesitated about going to watch the races and got done some photography.

The track…. oh the track! really well designed, the color of the dirt, different of course from the one over Dade City MX, is more brownish and solid, I think less sandy, the color in the photography I got from this track was really pleasant.

Another thing that caught my attention is the environment, really nice greens and to add more juice to the composition you can have  a really beautiful background with the retention ponds from Mosaic, take a look:

I can ask for more, really, very happy with the location, happy with parking and happy with results. If you want to visit the place check the website for schedule of racing at East Bay MX website (Disclaimer: There are not association between MySelf and East Bay Motocross).

A few selection of the shoot, enjoy great color saturation, beautiful bikes and great light:

Note: Pictures taken with Nikon D700 using Sigma Lenses on Lexar Professional UDMA Digital Film.

As a photography Tip: If you are using a Full Frame Camera Sensor (D700/D3/D3s/D3x), try using the Crop Sensor Selection DX on your Shooting Menu/Image Area to gain reach with your telephoto lens, in my case I was Using the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 HSM EX DG Macro, with the DX mode on D700 my 70-200mm zoom became a 105-300mm zoom. (Remember by doing this, your 12mp camera become a 5mp one, if you don’t really care about printing a billboard, this could save you a lot of time during post production.

Thanks for visiting!
