Hello Readers;

Today wasn’t a different day; the big meeting in my office brings everybody on time this morning to the building, I had to run some errands in the morning helping a friend get his scooter fixed for our ride Saturday morning, after a few minutes this meeting ends, I started shooting, in my way to the second floor, I found Debbie waiting for some printing documents, she was special that moment, I didn’t hesitate in taking a picture, what can I say, this one is my favorite.

Debbie

I did promise Rocio yesterday that I will bring my camera to take some portraits for some online profile she wants to create, so I did put together the weapons (my D300, Nikkor 85mm f/1.8, Speedlight SB800) for this little assignment.

My idea was use Off-Camera Flash using Nikon CLS System, very simple, no complications, and guest what????, after finishing photographing Rocio, Robyn passed and ask for some pictures, found Veronica in the same room and asked her for help holding the Flash (SB-800), after I photograph Robyn, did some test photos on Veronica, with natural light, no flash.

The pictures came pretty decent for the situation, girls are happy with the results, even me; I am impressed with the results using Nikon CLS Off-Camera Flash you can obtain really good results, just a camera, and a speedlight.

Here, the other portraits. Enjoy this pictures, the girls are pretty!!!

The Settings I used today:
Shooting Mode: A – Aperture Priority
f/ Stop: f/4
ISO Speed: ISO 200-400
Built in Flash Set as a Commander, SB-800 Remote, EV -0.3
45 degrees Off-Camera Flash Location.

See, it’s amazing isn’t it? you can make somebody happy like today, out of my break time, back to my daily LABOREO!!!!

Happy Light Hunting folks.
