Biketoberfest Weekend!
Long time away from this blog, yes I know, but I’ve been busy, I am back to school, and free time is hard to catch. Today I am going to talk about what happened last weekend, boy was wild, if you’re a bike enthusiast you may know Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach FL.
Well I rode my bike with a group of friends over there, a whole 145 miles from Tampa, all across the peninsula, any ways, back to the story, we left Tampa about 6:45 AM, the riding to Orlando was ok, BUT when we stop for gas I noticed my rear tire was bad, I said bad, well it was BAD!!!, we have to look for a dealer and change the rear tire, of course I did spend my whole money on this, but at least I am alive.
Daytona appears about 11 AM; close to Deland we pick up a friend, a local Daytona girl. We were ending at the Cracker Barrel by US 92 and Speedway.
I have to say, I never saw before in MY ENTIRE LIFE that many bikes, Daytona Business Bureau said that this year 175,000 bike assisted to the rally, that number is amazing right!
The whole day was walking around and taking pictures we were tired by dawn, and we have to ride back to the hotel, well this is exactly was happened, checking was at 9 PM, shower and bed later on.
We left Deland about 10 AM Sunday, was windy and COLD, but the ride back home was really good, HOME were reached about 12 and by 2 o’clock I was napping.
Now I want to share some images:
……………………….. ……………………….. ……………………….. Just a sneak peak, check the complete collection in my Gallery [ find more pictures here ]I am leaving know, time to catch some light!
